Tiana - From Vision To Her Custom Wedding Dress

Tiana's Vision

Tiana knew lace needed to be an important part of her wedding dress, but the gowns she had found in bridal stores weren't quite what she had imagined. Many incorporated heavier embellishment and sparkle, while she wanted the beauty and delicacy of the lace itself to become the focus.

Her Custom Dress

Her custom gown brought together the silhouette, neckline, sheer lace detailing and romantic aesthetic she had envisioned into one cohesive design.

Lisa - A Black Wedding Dress That Made A Statement

Lisa's Vision

Lisa knew from the beginning that a traditional white wedding dress wasn't for her.

Inspired by Christine Quinn's dramatic black bridal gown, she wanted something bold, unconventional and unapologetically different — a wedding dress that reflected her personality rather than traditional expectations.

Her Custom Dress

Lisa's gown was created entirely in black, with a semi-sheer corseted bodice, embroidered floral lace and layers of black tulle. Eight layers of tulle, including subtle glitter tulle, created depth and movement through the skirt while maintaining the dramatic black silhouette she envisioned.

Custom sleeve detailing completed the look, bringing her different inspiration elements together into one striking gown.

A wedding dress didn't have to be white to feel bridal. It simply had to feel like Lisa.

Lucy — Minimalist Elegance, Designed Her Way

Lucy's Vision

Lucy had a clear vision for her wedding dress: timeless, minimalist and effortlessly elegant. After researching designers, visiting bridal boutiques and searching online, she found plenty of dresses she liked — but none brought together all the details she wanted.

Rather than settling for a gown that was almost right, Lucy chose custom.

Her Custom Dress

Drawing inspiration from two different gowns, Lucy combined a softly draped semi-sweetheart bodice with relaxed off-the-shoulder sleeves and a modern wrap-style skirt with a thigh-high split. The gown was created in matte crepe, giving the finished design its clean silhouette, beautiful drape and understated finish.

The result was beautifully simple, contemporary and unmistakably Lucy.

Luciarna — A Second Chance at Her Wedding Dress

Luciarna's Vision

Luciarna's custom wedding dress journey began differently.

She had already chosen her first wedding dress — but afterwards realised she had settled for something that wasn't truly what she wanted.

Rather than accepting that feeling, she gave herself another chance to have the wedding dress she had originally imagined.

Her Custom Dress

Custom gave Luciarna the opportunity to start again — this time making decisions around what she actually wanted rather than compromising on an existing gown.

Her story is an important reminder that choosing a wedding dress isn't simply about finding something beautiful.

It's about finding the dress that feels right for you.

Jade — When the Dress You Want Doesn't Exist in Bridal Stores

Jade's Vision

Jade knew exactly what was making her wedding dress search difficult: She wanted a black wedding dress.

But finding the kind of black bridal gown she envisioned within conventional bridal collections wasn't easy. Rather than continuing to search for something that was simply close enough, Jade chose custom.

Her Custom Dress

Her gown was designed to be individual, not limited by what happened to be available in bridal stores.

Colour became part of the design rather than an obstacle to finding the dress.

Because sometimes the reason you can't find your wedding dress isn't that you haven't looked hard enough — it's that the dress you're imagining needs to be created.

Chaznay — Couldn't Find The Dress She Loved In Perth

Chaznay's Vision

Chaznay had a problem we hear surprisingly often. She found a wedding dress online, but it was not available in Perth, and the designer had also discontinued distributing it to boutiques stocking the design.

She loved the dress so much, she just couldn't bring herself to look for another design. 

She realised custom was her only way to get the dress she loved.

We followed her request and created her version of her inspiration wedding gown. She wasn't looking for too many design modifications and we made it with very little tweaks based on her preferences.

Can you recreate one of the wedding dresses in your gallery?
Our previous gowns can certainly inspire, but custom gives you the opportunity to create something individual to you. Elements can be adapted or combined with your own ideas rather than simply reproducing another bride's dress.

Can I combine details from several dresses?
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons brides consider custom. You might love the neckline of one dress, the skirt of another and lace or sleeves from somewhere else. We can review those elements and determine how they can work together as one beautiful design.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before contacting you?
No. Inspiration images are usually enough to begin. You can also tell us what you've already tried, what you liked or disliked, and any particular features you'd like your gown to include.

Can you create coloured or non-traditional wedding dresses?
Yes. Custom is particularly useful when what you're looking for isn't commonly available in traditional bridal collections. Send us your ideas and we can assess the design and available fabric options.
