Getting a custom-made wedding dress is an exciting and deeply personal journey. At Envious Bridal & Formal, we understand the significance of this process and have designed a streamlined system to ensure an experience that is both seamless and delightful for you. Our custom made process is straightforward and designed to be stress-free and take you on an exciting custom made wedding dress adventure!

1. Price Quote

The first step is to complete and submit all the required fields in the “REQUEST A QUOTE” form on our website, providing us with some important information that helps us understand your ideas for your perfect dress.

We will send you a price quotation which will be based to match your specified criteria and if this meets your requirements, we will proceed to the next step of the process by arranging a design consultation appointment.

2. Design Consultation Appointment

The design consultation appointment serves as an opportunity for us to delve deeper into your custom dress,to get a better understanding of your preferences. We will discuss details such as fabrics, appliques, and fine-tuning design specifics.

Furthermore, we will work together to establish a timeline for the completion of your dress, ensuring it is completed well ahead of your big day. This appointment is also a chance for us get to know you better, as we believe in creating a collaborative and enjoyable experience throughout your dressmaking journey.

If you can’t quite visualize how all your custom wedding dress design elements will come together or just want to see all your ideas in a final dress design, we offer an optional service* of design sketches which will put together all your idea concepts in a digital sketch format.

This service provides an opportunity to visualize the integration of various design elements before finalizing your dress details. It allows you to gain a clear visual understanding of how each detail will come together, ensuring that your expectations are met. Our designer will translate your ideas into a digital representation, providing you with a realistic glimpse of the breathtaking masterpiece that will be your custom wedding dress!

3. Order Confirmation

If you are satisfied and everything harmonizes with your envisioned design, we're ready to move forward and finalize the arrangement for your custom made wedding gown.

This step entails your confirmation of the custom details and placing the order on the day of the appointment. To secure your dress's placement in our production schedule, a 50% deposit is payable and sets the wheels in motion. This ensures that your dress is prioritized and prepared according to the agreed-upon timeline. We aim to provide you with peace of mind as we progress towards creating your dream gown.

4. Dress In Production

Stage 1:

The initial stage of preparing for the production of your bespoke wedding gown begins by sourcing all the required materials, fabrics, embellishments, and any other elements needed for your dress.

Stage 2:

The next stage is preparing a mock up of your dress silhouette which serves as the foundation base of your custom wedding dress. The mock up dress will be created to show you overall dress silhouette with all the relevant details such as neckline, sleeves, train length etc.

Stage 3:

Then placements of other elements such as lace appliques, embellishments and/or bead-work is positioned on the dress. This step ensures that you like where everything is before we move on to the final sewing stage.

We'll keep you updated by sending you pictures of the dress being created at each stage via email. This way is to ensure that every detail aligns with your expectations before we proceed further.
