Custom Made Policy
Please note that submitting an in-store appointment request form serves only as a request and DOES NOT constitute an immediate confirmed appointment. We will get in touch with you within 48 hours to either confirm your appointment or discuss alternative availability options.
Envious Bridal & Formal maintains the right to modify or cancel an appointment if deemed necessary. We will inform you within a reasonable time-frame to communicate such changes.
All sales are final. Regardless of circumstances, no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on any merchandise. This policy includes custom-made orders and items bought "off-the-rack". All deposits are not refundable and subject to these terms.
Any deposit placed on merchandise signifies a legally binding agreement for the complete amount owed. For custom-made orders, the remaining balance must be settled within 30 days from the good’s arrival at the store. Goods not collected by the specified wedding date will be deemed "abandoned." At this point, they will either be returned to inventory, pursued through legal collections, or donated to charity.
Your custom-made gown will be tailored to fit your corresponding size ranges rather than being made according to your precise measurements. Unless otherwise stated, agreed upon, and paid for - custom-made gowns are not individually tailored to measurements.
Made to measure incurs an additional charge. You have the final selection of size ordered with or without consideration of general recommendation by Envious Bridal & Formal. You are responsible for the ordered size, colour as well as other specified product details. It is important to note that all gowns, including custom-made made, will require alterations to achieve the perfect fit. Alterations are not included in the price of the gown.
Custom Made Gowns
Your order will be processed through our Sales Order and a 50% deposit is required at the time of placing the order for your custom-made dress. The balance amount is required to be settled at the first fitting or prior to shipment (for brides outside of Perth).
Your order will be placed under a Sales Agreement presented to you at the time of placing your order and making the deposit.
If you wish to cancel your online order, please contact us promptly after placing the order so that we can facilitate the cancellation process. Should your order have already undergone processing and been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible In such a situation, the item will need to be managed as a return item following our established return process.
For bridal parties ordering bridesmaid dresses, we recommend consolidating orders into a single ensuring colour consistency. If orders are placed separately, there might be minor colour deviations.
Rush order delivery times serve as approximate estimates and are not assured guarantees. The supplementary fee expedites the production of your order, prioritizing it. Every attempt will be made to fulfill your order within the specified time-frame.
Please note that the delivery times provided do not factor in unforeseen delays due to Customs procedures, unforeseen natural events, or delays caused by third-party shipping providers.
Production & Delivery
All provided estimates for shipping dates, whether communicated verbally or otherwise, are highly provisional and susceptible to change. Envious Bridal ensures delivery prior to your event date, while any disparities in anticipated delivery dates are beyond our responsibility.
We are not able to provide an exact delivery date. To mitigate any potential difficult circumstances or any alterations needed, we recommend you place your custom-made wedding dress or group bridesmaid dresses order with us at least 10 months in advance.
The crafting of custom-made wedding gowns can encompass a lead time of up to 8 months or possibly longer. This duration comprises of phases such as design consultations, confirmations, mock-ups, and the actual dress production process.
Beyond the actual production lead time, there are also other factors that can contribute to a longer time-frame such as factory closures, extended duration required for sourcing and manufacturing fabrics and raw materials, air freight logistics, customs processing, as well as domestic staffing and transit constraints.
The delivery of products from the dressmaking studio to Envious Bridal & Formal's store is provided at no cost under standard delivery. However, there is a shipping fee for items dispatched from Envious Bridal & Formal to your residences (this option can be made available upon request).
When your gown/s are ready for fittings or collection at Envious Bridal & Formal, you are required to check them, pay off the remaining balance, and collect the gown/s within 30 days. If, for any reason, you can't meet this time-frame, please contact us to discuss and possibly extend the hold period for your gown.
Envious Bridal & Formal will ensure that there is a minimum of 30 days lead time between the ready in-store/delivery and the actual date of your wedding or event date.
Typically, gown arrivals align with the estimated arrival date provided at the time of your order confirmation or may even arrive a bit earlier. Nevertheless, it's worth noting that occasional delays can occur. In such cases, we'll inform you promptly.
Envious Bridal & Formal cannot be held responsible for delivery delays if it's evident that the requested delivery time-frame was not reasonable or feasible for us to fulfill.
The cost of alterations is not incorporated in the gown price, including custom-made dresses. Any alterations or adjustments needed for your dress are separate expenses for which you are responsible. If you opt for alteration services through us, the terms, and conditions of the alterations agreement will apply. This agreement must be signed by you before any alteration work begins. You will receive the agreement when you request alterations for your gown.
If your gown has undergone any form of alteration, including internal modifications such as seam allowance adjustments for assessment purposes, it cannot be returned to our store. This action negates the possibility of reimbursement.
For custom-made orders, if an order is cancelled within twenty-four (24) hours of payment confirmation, you will be eligible for a refund. However, a 30% time and administrative fee will be deducted from the deposit paid. Cancellations requested beyond this 24-hour time-frame will not be accepted, and the deposit will be forfeited.
Due to the bespoke/custom nature of the gowns produced by Envious Bridal & Formal, strict cancellation terms are in place regardless of the Buyer's reason for cancellation.
If you choose to cancel the order during the production process or after the custom garment has been completed, the outstanding balance for the order must still be settled in full.
